Monday Mix // 12

7:27 AM

I bought a new top!  I like it so much that this Monday Mix pretty much revolves around it, and how I wore it Saturday night.

This floral jacquard peplum top comes in 3 really pretty colors.  The fabric has texture and looks much more expensive than it is.  It will go great with shorts, your favorite denim (white too), or twill pants.  I wore the burnt coral colored top with camouflage twill pants that I've owned for some time.  I  rolled my pant cuff's up, and added the strappy ankle shoes on the very top of this mix.  I've had them for quite awhile too so they are hard to find online.  Pretty much sold out so I found some other options that I think would be really nice as well.  When I purchased the shoes I thought they would be like $90 and they rang up for $30 - I think they were a total steal.  The pair on the bottom is by the same maker and runs about $55 so that's not bad either.

It was pouring rain Saturday so I added a denim jacket.  I also wore my Tory Burch fitbit wrap bracelet, and the yellow bracelet pictured above.  It was a super comfortable outfit.

Here are all the details:

Peplum Top - this link will lead you to all the color shown here - burnt coral, illusion blue, and reflecting pond.

I think this Japanese denim tote would be really fun to mix in with this outfit.  I used my perforated leather tote that looks just like this one.  I keep this orange dipped canvas pouch inside my bag to hold all my credit cards, cash, and lip gloss.  I found mine at Home Goods for about $8 :)

American Rag Carllie Demi Wedge Sandal - just google that if you want to see if you can find your size.  They were made in a lot of nice colors.

Jeffrey Campbell strappy sandal - so pretty and the heel isn't too  high.

I think this is another perfect substitute for my sandals - American Rag Casen Demi Wedge Sandal - and mine are really comfortable.

Now that the weather is nice I wear my fitbit everyday - it really motivates me to get my steps in.  When I'm doing nicer things I wear my Tory Burch fitbit wrap bracelet that I got for my birthday last year.  I own the french gray/silver version.  I also love the oak/rose gold version.  It was a hard choice.  They are on a really good sale right now!  You have to buy your fitbit separately.

A Ebay link for my yellow bracelet - it's by Simon Sebbag and they no longer sell it.

A very nice option in place of the yellow bracelet - go with this white version.

This pair of camo pants is similar to the ones I own.  I own this pair, but in the normal camo color.  I can only find them in the navy camo color online - which are very fun as well.  Maybe with the illusion blue colored top.

This set of 4 bracelets also look very fun for Summer!

Lastly, this leather purse caught my eye.  It can be worn as a cross-body or carried as a clutch.

Thank you for reading!  I'm really not a fancy type dresser.  I like clothes that are I guess simple mixed in with something cute.  I'm usually in workout gear, jeans with a fun sleeveless top and a cardigan if needed, or a dress.  I actually bought a few pairs of shorts this year which is new for me.  I don't think you need to spend a lot of money to look nice.  My major in college was actually fashion related - I figured maybe I should start to tap into that aspect more here on the blog.   Hope everyone has a good week.
