I bought an old folding ruler a few years ago - I had first placed it on my kitchen window. When the weather turned warm I brought it outside and that is where it has stayed.
I'm happy with how this planter turned out this year. Purple Pansy mix and yellow Lantana flowers. I so love yellow at the moment.
The ruler has really added some extra character! It has weathered even more and is broken at one spot - but with that end tucked into the dirt you can't even tell. Closer to the Fourth I usually add some small flags to the planter too!
