This might sound like a strange combination, but it's really good!
It's also a nice break from the ordinary breakfast.
*
Crescent Rolls with Gouda Cheese and Apricot Jam
1 pkg. of Pillsbury crescent rolls
Gouda cheese
Smucker's Apricot Jam
Preheat oven as directed on crescent roll package.
I created 4 breakfast treats, but you can make 8 by just using each triangle as one serving.
I placed two triangles side by side to form a rectangle. Placed a few pieces of cheese and a good amount of jam at one end of the rectangle. Really no right or wrong - just do what looks good to you.
Next, fold over the crescents and crimp the edges with a fork.
Bake as directed on package. I like mine to brown a bit.
All baked and ready to eat. I was rushing and didn't seal my crescents super well so a little jam worked it's way out, but that's alright. Still super tasty!
Noah wasn't too sure about this combination, but he gave it a try and really liked it!
Hoping you might enjoy it too!
