Happy New Year And A Recipe For Bunny Dip

Happy New Year!

We have been being casual for so long now it was hard to get out and run some errands today.  I think the other problem is that we have had colds - first, N, then me, then J.   It doesn't want to leave us quickly.  I guess it's a good excuse to stay warm and cozy.

It seems like every year at New Years I like to make this chip dip.  My mom used to make it when I was in grade school.   I now make it once a year, enjoy it, and then luckily I don't crave chips and dip for another year.

Supposedly this recipe is the recipe they used at the Playboy club back in the day - therefore the name Bunny Dip.

Bunny Dip

1 c. sour cream

3 ounces of cream cheese

2 T. Mayo

1 t. lemon juice

½ t. Worcestershire sauce

1 T. finely chopped green onion tops

½ t. minced onion (I use dried chopped onion)

½ t. garlic salt

Dash of white pepper

Combine above ingredients until well blended.  Tastes best chilled and served with potato chips.

  3. I have an almost identical recipe for chip dip...love it! Mine isn't named anything as good as Bunny dip from the Playboy club though : ) And I am not lucky enough to only crave chips and dip once a year!
I remember my mom making Watergate cake back in the day...I will have to look that one up.
I hope you all feel better very soon!!!
