We pretty much have the perfect Fall weather in Michigan today.
This isn't maybe the prettiest mix board, but it does have some of the coziness of Fall represented. I like this moody green wallpaper - and that lamp has been a favorite of mine for awhile now. And when the weather turns - candlelight - game night. Maybe a puzzle. Someone I used to know would play gin rummy with his mom - this card set for that game is so artistic and makes me think of them enjoying time together. I used to use a Keurig and wasn't liking it so its been in my garage for awhile. I finally ordered this French press and used it this morning. It made a really good cup of coffee and its insulated and super cute. Book is what we are reading in Bible study now. I love this book. Can't say enough good things about it - and I think it filters out all of the noise of our world and brings you back to what actually matters. Lastly, I just thought the little wire vases were cute and why not use some fun scissors to do your flower arranging.
Last week was our final week for this year working on the farm making flower arrangements. It was the first year I worked with the flowers - loved being creative. This week I'm starting a whole new kind of volunteer job. It's actually somewhere that I've wanted to help at since I'd say grade school. That in itself is really exciting! The bad part is I don't think we can take pictures so lots of cuteness that I can't share :( Another fun fact is that I had to interview - my first in years - and I passed so that's good :) Being older now I was confident in myself and just approached it being myself and calm and casual. Didn't worry about it at all. So different from being young and getting nervous and worrying about what they would ask.
