I missed my Monday posting - I'm a little late, but decided to share the things that made my birthday wishlist. Very soon I'll be another year older.
First up is this blush classic zip around wallet by Cuyana. I actually think I might order the smaller version when it is back in stock - and the mint color may sway me.
I've been looking at this White Marble Macbook Skin for some time.
I own a black Fitbit Flex - actually got my record number of steps yesterday - 18,429 - I'm ready to upgrade, and I really like the extra functions that are on the Fitbit Blaze. With the Blaze you have a watch, it tells you your heart rate, it has GPS, workouts, texts and calender alerts - plus lots more. Much easier to know exactly where your at on steps without syncing to your phone. If I'm lucky enough to get one I'll still use my Flex at times because I have my Tory Burch Double Wrap Fitbit Bracelet that I really like. Another thing that I like about the Blaze is the Camel Leather Band that can be purchased separately.
I love to be comfy and this pair of Nubuck Slip On Shoes in Slate is right up my alley. You can even somewhat choose what you'd like to pay for them, :) I wear this type of shoe with everything from jeans to shorts to really pretty dresses. This style works with them all. I like them with my prettier dresses because it dresses them down a bit - like when you wear flip-flops with them - that way I feel I can wear my dresses whenever I want to - even for simple errand days.
This Black Heart Necklace is dainty and simple - Love it!
I'm seriously dying to read Lily and the Octopus - I listened to the author on a Satellite radio station - here is a little blurb from Amazon:
We can tell you that this is a story about that special someone: the one you trust, the one you can’t live without.
For Ted Flask, that someone special is his aging companion Lily, who happens to be a dog.
Lily and the Octopus reminds us how it feels to love fiercely, how difficult it can be to let go, and how the fight for those we love is the greatest fight of all.
I'm being very patient and practical and just hoping this makes it to my house. I put the word out! I'm already so excited about it. I haven't been this interested in getting my hands on a particular book in some time.
This item is not in stock right now - but I love this Mariella Vilar personalized straw bag. This image is from veryallegra on Instagram. I liked this color combination best!
I think this dress looks adorable. I haven't tried it on yet, but intend to. It's by J. Crew and you can find it here.
So that's a look at my birthday wishlist items. Wonder what that says about me? I think it's full of useful items that are of nice quality. Things that would be used and enjoyed again and again.
I've so been meaning to post at least twice a week. Hopefully I will make it this week - I haven't been doing so well on that :) I've been dreaming up kitchen plans, keeping up on laundry, and organizing this house a little bit more. It seems like the mess just keeps coming - I did order a new rug for my foyer. Hopefully it's as great as the picture looks. If so I just might be able to share that.
Enjoy the week!

. Well, it was a hit! It was in his hands and being used from the time he opened it until at least 3 hours later. Then he picked it up again later in the night. Yesterday after school, baseball practice, haircut, and dinner he was back at it. Before long the house was filled with the sound of Over The Rainbow. He went to the website
- take it to the water - the finish is protected. Lots more colors in this style too!
