I promise this is the last of the Easter theme for the year. Here is a little look at the kids dinner table.
A birdhouse takes it's place of honor in the center of the table. I have a set of Monet dishes that I like to pull out and use in the spring and since the kids are getting older I decided to use them here.
The plastic pots the violas came in have been "slipcovered" in a floral napkin. I just slipped on a rubber band to hold the napkin securely around the top edge of the pot. The rubber band is easily hidden by the extra napkin fabric.
A couple of antique candy molds add a little whimsy and finish everything off.
What a happy, fun table for the kids! I bet they felt special! :)
