A Little Cup of Goodness


We have been starting off our days this week with a delicious smoothie.  It tastes so good and is filled with nutrition.  Here is how I make it.



 Strawberry Banana Smoothie

1 1/2 c. Stonyfield low fat french vanilla yogurt
1/2 c. Simply Orange orange juice
1/4 c. wheat germ
1 large frozen banana
1 heaping c. strawberries
1 T. honey
1 c. ice
1 scoop vanilla protein powder

Place all ingredients in blender.
Blend on high speed until smooth.
Makes 3 to 4 servings.  Depends on how big you want your glass to be.

  2. I bought so many strawberries at the store this week and I'm afraid they'll go bad...this is the perfect solution. For me of course, my little one won't touch a smoothie, unless it's made out of oreos! :)
