Hello Monday!

A few items to quickly share today.

I think this is the prettiest pastry cloche

Speaking of baking - I received Sister Pie for my birthday.  It's a downtown Detroit business - and the recipes look incredible.  There are lots of short bread cookie recipes - which I think I'm going to try first!  I also got this cookbook.

Flatware set with lots of patina.  I think it would look nice with so many different table settings, and I like the spoons and size of the forks.

I love the shape of this glassware.

My Summer Nights Hoodie.  I've been looking forward to wearing it - and finally got my chance while in Hatteras.  I layered it over a tropical sundress I found on Amazon last year.  Kept me cozy on a nightly beach walk.

I picked up this sleeveless sweater at Target.  I'd looked at it a couple times, and finally just tossed it in my cart.  So cute with a little front tuck with jeans!  The quality is really nice.  It is out of stock online, but maybe you can still find one locally.

I found this Doors T-Shirt at Target too.  I was drawn to the colors in it.  It will go with so many of my clothes.  I did end up buying it in large.  The medium was tight in the shoulders plus I've been tying the bottoms of t shirts & making a nice cuff on the sleeves to shorten them.

Another of my friends gave me a pair of these earrings for my birthday.  They are so fun.  I have that green color in the bottom picture.  I LOVE them!!!  Dressing nice is such an oddity lately with the way the world is - but in the past couple weeks I've been making a point to wear the clothes I like and not just leave them unworn in my closet while only wearing my junky stuff.  It feels good to wear the dresses and the fun khaki overalls, and the top that might take more effort to wash.  Use everything that you love - fashion and home.

Speaking of home here are some wallpapers I'm liking - I have this yellow floral.  I think it will brighten up the inside of a closet.  I think the blue print wallpaper has such a beautiful story on it with all of the animals - yet it would become such a neutral background.  In my office I was going to use a cloud wallpaper on the ceiling.  Now I am thinking I'd like to do this spotted wallpaper in either the blush or navy.  Has a happier feel!

This indoor/outdoor chair from Ikea looks so comfy to me.   I really should buy a couple before I miss my chance.

I'll be back here Wednesday or Thursday with a recipe for a unique pasta salad :)
